The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Hello and happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well. Mine has been pretty good. We just broke a weather record of the most consecutive days without rain in January. It is usually pretty wet here in winter but we haven’t had any rain, or snow, for fifteen days! It has been sunny but very cold. The rain is suppose to return tomorrow which is hopefully a good thing, especially for the skiers.

My reading this week has been pretty good. I finished four books, all of them excellent. I would recommend all of them. They are all from several different genres, so a little something for everyone. I am really enjoying my current reads too.

What am I currently reading?

A Ghastly Catastrophe is the 10th book in the Veronica Speedwell series and it is just as much fun as the first. This time Veronica and Stoker are looking into a death that might be linked to a vampire!

A World Without Summer is my nonfiction book for the month. It is about the 1815 Mt Tambora volcano eruption and how it affected the climate and perhaps some author’s writing. I have just started this and so far I am intrigued.

🎧Climate of Chaos is my current audiobook and I am really enjoying it. It is a YA dystopian set in the Seattle area. It is always a delight to read books set in my hometown.

What have I recently finished reading?

*Her Last Breath was an excellent suspense thriller. So many twists to the story. There were a few instances where I really had to suspend my disbelief, but otherwise it was brilliant.

*Alchemy of Secrets was also a really good read. I highly recommend it if you enjoy urban fantasy.

The Frozen People is a delightful take on time travel. I really enjoyed this one and I loved that it involves the beginning of time travel. The mystery was good, but slightly unbelievable.

🎧I’m Afraid You’ve Got Dragons was a really fun book to listen to. It was slightly on the dark side, but still had cozy vibes and humor throughout the story.

What will I read next?

The Fox and the Devil has a wonderful first line. I am hoping that the rest of the story is just as good. This book comes out in March.

The Man on the Endless Stair is the next library book that I plan to read. This is a historical mystery thriller set on a secluded Scottish island. It sounds really awesome and I am excited to get started on this one soon.

🎧Last One Out is an ALC that I received through Netgalley that I am really looking forward to listening to. I love this author’s books. This doesn’t come out in the US until April.

That is it for this week’s edition of WWW Wednesday. I hope the rest of your week is marvelous and that you are enjoying your reading.

Until next time…

Happy Reading!
