Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going well. Mine has been pretty good. The weekend felt a lot like spring, but it is now pouring rain and is likely to do so for several more days. Well at least the flowers will enjoy the rain.

I finished four books this week, two of them were audiobooks which helped. I can almost always find time to listen to a book while I do something else, so I do get through them faster. My current reads are so far pretty good, but I only just started them yesterday.

What am I currently reading?

Platform Decay is my current ARC and I am loving it so far. It is so much fun spending time with Murderbot and his new mental health module.

The Tomb of the Mili Mongga is my nonfiction read for the month. So far it is pretty good although a little slow moving. I am hoping it picks up soon.

🎧And Now, Back to You is my current audiobook. I am just about an hour in so don’t have much to say, except I really like the two main characters and their narrators.

What have I recently finished reading?

Gimme Shelter was just as much fun as the first book. I love the quirky characters, the rock and roll and the mystery was quite good as well. Really looking forward to the next one in the series.

Homemaker ended up being a pretty good book, but maybe not enough that I want to read the next one. I didn’t quite jibe with the writing style. But I still pretty much enjoyed the mystery.

🎧Busted was a lot of fun. This one is definitely for the older middle grade kids. I loved the characters and the story was a lot of fun. Lots of laugh out loud moments.

*🎧Storm Warning was just as good as the others in this series. Full of adventure and tense moments. I had to suspend quite a bit of disbelief by the end, but it was one hell of a fun story.

What will I read next?

A Zoom With a View is a cozy mystery set in a small Texas town. There is also a romance and some fun sounding characters. This is the next ARC I need to read.

Mal Goes to War is my next library read. I have so far really liked all of this author’s other books, so I am pretty sure this one will be a good one.

🎧Finlay Donovan Crosses the Line is my next audiobook and I am really looking forward to listening to this one. I love the narrator and I am always up for some Finlay and Vero shenanigans.
