March was a good month, but I am really looking forward to April. Spring is such a nice time of year, even though it rains a lot. I love seeing all of the trees and flowers blooming, although I don’t particularly like the sneezing.
My reading for April is looking excellent. I have lots of good books lined up to read. I have four ARCs and one ALC to get through. All of them look good and except for one of them, pretty quick reads. I also have four others picked out for my various challenges I am doing. I have not yet decided which nonfiction book I will pick up this month though.
ARCs I need to read

A Zoom With a View is a cozy mystery about a young woman who takes photos for her mother’s real estate business. She of course finds a body in one of the houses and has to solve the mystery. Sounds cute and fun and I love the cover.
The Anniversary is the next book by a favorite thriller author. This one is about a serial killer, but I think the story takes place on each anniversary of one of his victim’s escape. The premise sounds very interesting.
Seek the Traitor’s Son is a fantasy by another favorite author. This is an epic dystopian romance fantasy. Her work is usually dark, so I’m not sure what to expect, but I’m sure it will be good. This is the first in a new series.
Startup Hell is a contemporary fantasy about a young woman who has to save a demon from her demon-slaying mom. It sounds hilarious, and I loved her other two books, so this one was a definite must-read.
Villain is my ALC for this month. I loved the first book in this series, Hench, and I am so looking forward to seeing how this duology ends.
Other books I plan to read

River of Bones and Other Stories is a book I am super excited to read. I loved the Sixth World series so I am very excited to read the story set in that world. The other ones sound really good too.
Finlay Donovan Crosses the Line will be a fun book to read. I love this series and I am very excited that Vero is finally getting her mystery solved. This also fits the prompt for the April Buzzword Cover challenge of a cover featuring accessories.
The Third to Die is the first book in a mystery thriller story that came out a few years ago. I picked this one for the Buzzword Reading Challenge. April’s prompt is an ordinal word in the title.
The Somewhat Wicked Witch of Brigandale is a book that I recently heard about that sounds like it would be a great read. It is about a witch who has to stop her son from becoming king. It is a cozy fantasy. This one is for my 52 Book club challenge for the grumpy/sunshine trope prompt.

Well that is my April reading mostly figured out. I have lots of other books picked out to read, but I always like to leave room on my monthly TBR for mood reading. Also I am never quite sure which books I have on hold will show up. I hope you all have lots of good books to read in April. Until next time…
