I can’t believe that it is May already. This is mostly because our weather has been more like winter than spring lately. It is supposed to be gorgeous this weekend so fingers crossed that will happen. I am very tired of the clouds and rain.
I have some good books lined up for the month though, so maybe rainy weather keeping me inside and reading isn’t a bad thing. The first couple of weeks of the month are going to be very busy though, so hopefully I will be able to keep up.
ARCs I need to read

The Silent Paths of Night is the second book in the Gods of Sun and Moon series. I have already started this one and so far it is just as good as the first book.
Somebody Worth Killing is a thriller with a solid premise. Hopefully it will live up to the good reviews I have been seeing. I also just noticed that this is a local author, which I am always glad to support.
Three Hitman and a Baby is the third book in the Assassins Anonymous series. So far I have really enjoyed this series and this one sounds just as good.
Moss’d in Space is a book I chose because of the title and then the summary just really grabbed me. I wasn’t a huge fan of the one other book I read by this author, but I’m willing to give her another chance.
Other books I plan to read

These are all books I picked for the various challenges I am doing this year.
Once a Villain is the last book in this series. I meant to pick it up last year, but never got around to it. Hopefully I remember the previous books well enough to not be too lost. (Buzzword Cover Challenge)
The Monsters We Make is a suspense thriller set in the ’80s. Not sure why so many books have been set in the ’80s lately, but this one sounded pretty good. (Buzzword Reading Challenge)
Ocean: Earth’s Last Wilderness is my nonfiction read for the month. I have been wanting to read this since it came out and I just decided that I really wanted to get to it this month. (Nonfiction Challenge)
Didn’t You Use to be Queenie B? is not a typical genre that I pick up, but this one sounded good and it is always good to read something different. Plus it is about food and cooking! (52 Book Club Reading Challenge)

Well that is the plan for the month of May. Last month I changed my mind about one of my challenge books, and that could happen again if something better peaks my interest. But I am thinking that these are pretty solid reads and that I will be happy with my choices.
Until next time…
