First Lines Friday is a weekly feature (or when I feel like it) hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover we judge it by its opening lines?
Can you figure out this week’s book just from the first line?

What will I read next?
A review for the second book in the middle grade Juniper Lane Adventures. This is a fun story about a young teen finding her place and her magic as she defeats a magical force trying to take over London. Full of folklore, and lots of great characters, with a fascinating plot.
A review for the nonfiction book Everything is Tuberculous by John Green. This is a book not only about the disease, but about heartbreak and hope and everything that the people that have this disease endure to finally be cured. Everything really is tuberculosis.
A weekly meme where I talk about what books I have added to my reading list this week. This will mostly be my library books, but I will talk about others as well. I have only added three books this week to my stack, but they are all promising to be good reads.
