This is a monthly post in which I talk about all of the lovely books I plan on reading in the coming month. I have lots of books planned for August, many of which I am hoping will be really good. I nice selection of genres with mysteries, romances and fantasies.
A review for the upcoming YA novel by Mike Chen. This is his first foray into the young adult genre and it was a lot of fun to read. Of Sorcery and Science is a nice mix of science fiction and fantasy. Two teens, both chosen ones, use science to explain why magic is failing in the fantasy world they visit.

A review for the first book in a new middle grade series by Aaron Blabey. Game of Pets: The Boy Who Knew Too Much is a fun wild ride where everyone’s pet is controlling them and trying to destroy the earth. All because of an intergalactic game show run by aliens. A really fun time.
A weekly meme where I talk about what books I have added to my reading list this week. This will mostly be my library books, but I will talk about others as well. This week I have added four new books to my stack. Looking forward to reading all of them.
A non-reading challenge that I am doing this year. Each month I will post a picture that I have taken based on a prompt. I have 12 chances to get a bingo! Wish me luck.
