2025 Nonfiction Challenge #7

A review for the nonfiction book Hell’s Half-Acre by Susan Jonusas. This book is about a small family in Kansas in the late 1800’s who murdered 11 people just so they could steal their few possessions. This story focuses mainly on how their murders were discovered and the people who tried to track them down and bring them to justice.

My August 2025 TBR

I have really done it to myself this month. I somehow ended up with eight ARCs that I need to read for September releases. Yikes! Luckily I think they will all be really good reads. I have a few other books lined up as well. It will be a busy month.

ARC Review: To Hell and Back

A review for the newest book by R.F. Kuang coming out in August. Katabasis is an interesting and enjoyable read about two graduate students who enter Hell in order to retrieve their recently deceased professor. The author has written a fascinating version of hell populated by interesting characters.
