A very short review for the very short novella The Hermit Next Door by Kevin Hearne. An adorable look at the strangers from afar amongst us and how two people’s lives are changed for the better.

A weekly post in which I pick a book off of my GoodReads want to read list and talk about it. This week’s pick is a book I just learned about but immediately added it to my TBR. This one is for the vampire fans as well as the mystery/thriller fans.

A review for the new Novella by Veronica Roth, When Among Crows. A riveting dark urban fantasy that takes a look at the themes of redemption, atonement and the things that we fear in life. It is also based on Slavic Mythology and tackles the societal issues of what makes a monster.

Audiobook Review:

I really enjoyed this audiobook version of Bride by Ali Hazelwood. This is my first book by this author, but I don’t think it will be my last. I loved this take on Vampyres and Weres and the romance was just smutty enough without going to far.
