A review for the nonfiction book Hidden Libraries: The World’s Most Unusual Book Depositories by DC Helmuth. This fun book tells the story of 50 unusual libraries that you can find around the world, and then some. I enjoyed learning about these hidden gems and I hope to visit at least a few of them someday,
A review for the new book by coauthors Marissa Meyer and Tamara Moss. The Escape Game is a YA contemporary mystery thriller with very high stakes. The characters are competing for a huge prize in a reality show that features Escape rooms. There are lots of twists to this story but friendship is at its heart.
Today I have two short audiobook reviews for the dystopian fans. Climate of Chaos by Cassandra Newbould is a bleak future of medical debt and climate change set in Seattle. Salvagia by Time Chaeaga is a murder mystery set in a flooded Florida. Both of these are great reads that I highly recommend.
A review for the Advance Listening Copy of the newest mystery by Jane Harper. Last One Out is a beautifully written story about a dying rural town that is keeping many secrets. It is about a mother’s love for her missing son and wanting to know the truth of what happened.
A review for the newest supernatural gothic mystery by Kiersten White. The Fox and the Devil is a fascinating story of the hunt for a supernatural serial killer at the turn of the century. The atmospheric setting of the late 1800s is very well done with a group of characters that you will love.
