A review for the first book in a new cozy fantasy-mystery story by Kiri Callaghan. The Hearth Witch’s Guide to Magic and Murder has some great characters, a slow burn yet very sweet romance and a really well done mystery. There are also some fun footnotes and a couple of recipes in the back.
A review for the debut novel, A Gift Before Dying by Malcolm Kempt. Set in a small town in the remote Arctic Circle, a young Inuit girl takes her life. Cole, the lead detective doesn’t think all is what it seems and embarks on a journey that will turn deadly.
Two quick reviews for two fabulous middle grade audio books I listened to this month. Let it Glow is a very sweet story about twins who switch places and learn about Christmas and Hanukkah. The Court of the Dead is the second adventure for Nico de Angelo and Will Solace who travel to Camp Jupiter to help Hazel.
Happy Holidays! I have for you today reviews for five holiday romances that I read this month. They were all pretty good and I enjoyed them for the most part. I have a few more holiday books to read and a couple more reviews to write, but so far I have been enjoying my holiday reading.
A review for the fourth book in the Ernest Cunningham mystery series. Everyone in This Bank is a Thief by Benjamin Stevenson is a fast paced funny and clever murder mystery that will keep you guessing until the very end.
