A weekly post in which I pick a book off of my GoodReads want to read list and talk about it. This week’s pick is a book that came out earlier this year that I have yet to read. This one’s a mystery/thriller with a dysfunctional family.

A review for the new book by Rainbow Rowell, Slow Dance. This is the story of two people who have grown up together, moved apart and then find each other and themselves in the end. It is a slow burn second chance romance with realistic characters that you will find yourself rooting for.
A review for the second book in the Waxways series, A Whisper in the Walls by Scott Reintgen. A well done revenge story, that will keep you turning those pages until the end.
A very short review for the very short novella The Hermit Next Door by Kevin Hearne. An adorable look at the strangers from afar amongst us and how two people’s lives are changed for the better.
A review for the dark comedy novel The Best Way to Bury Your Husband by Alexia Casale. The very hard topic of domestic abuse is handled in a very compassionate yet funny way with wonderful characters that you will find yourself rooting for.
A review for the suspense thriller Every Last Fear by Alex Finlay. A real page turner that will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat until the end.
