A review for the ninth book in the fabulous Veronica Speedwell historical mystery series, A Grave Robbery, by Deanna Raybourn. This one is a bit more sedate than previous books in the series, but it is still a great mystery with a great detective duo.

A review for the new standalone novel from the Jackaby series by William Ritter. Rook is a fun magical mystery with a lots of murder and mayhem. The setting of a small New England town after the Civil War gives it a fun flair as well.
Night of the Witch, written by Sara Raasch and Beth Revis, is the first book in a new young adult series set during the German witch trials in the 1500s. It is a dark and horrific time period that the authors treat with respect, but it can be a haunting read at times.
A review for the third installment in the Marion Lane historical mystery series. This is one is just as good as the first two with fast paced action, quirky characters and some fantastic gadgets.
A review for the upcoming second novel in the Mr Darcy and Miss Tilney cozy mystery series. This series is set in the world of Jane Austen’s novels and feature many characters of hers plus some delightful newcomers.
