Two audiobook reviews for you today. One fantasy and one mystery, very different from each other. Faebound by Saara El-Arifi was a very interesting story about fae and elves. The narrator didn’t quite work for me, but I enjoyed the story. Death Under a Little Sky by Stig Abell was a slow moving mystery that was also a really good listen.
I had a very busy week reading some holiday books. It really put me in the mood for the holidays. This post is three short reviews for some great books. I highly recommend all of them but especially The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year. It was a blast and I really enjoyed the romance and the mystery.

The second is a middle grade fantasy about a young boys adventure in a magical world adjacent to ours where he meets all kinds of wonderful creatures and an intriguing girl who can fly. Happy Friday! Today I am bringing you two short reviews for books I finished recently. Virtually Dead (2010) by Peter May is a mystery that is set inside a virtual game, Second Life. The Lightning Bottles (2024)by Marissa Stapley is also a bit of a mystery, but is set in the 90’s rock scene.
Finishing up my reviews for books I read in October. These two books are different but they both have mysteries at their core. They are both excellent reads and ones that I recommend you give a chance.
