A review for the audiobook version of the new cozy mystery, Every Time I Go On Vacation Someone Dies by Elizabeth Evans. A book that was funny, clever and hard to put down. The reader, Elizabeth Evans, does a fantastic job of narrating this cozy mystery set in Italy. It will be a great beach read this summer.
A review for the audiobook version of the newest novel by Alex Finlay, If Something Happens to Me. It is a well written mystery thriller with intricate layers to the story, and well written characters. This one will keep you on the edge of your seat as the multiple storylines converge into a story of grief and revenge.
Two reviews for you today, one new book and one book that was published a few years ago. Both were good solid reads, although both were very slow moving at least for me. A Step Past Darkness is a mystery thriller that has a supernatural twist. Endless Water, Starless Sky is the ending of a duology based on the Romeo and Juliet tale.
A review for the upcoming debut YA thriller by Trish Lundy, The One That Got Away With Murder. This is one hell of a debut with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the murders are solved. The audiobook was well done with wonderful readers bringing the characters to life.
A review for the fifth book in the Hawthorne and Horowitz series, Close to Death by Anthony Horowitz. This is a fun addition to this series with the author looking back at a murder that Hawthorne worked on before they met. It is twisty and fun with lots of suspects who had plenty of reasons for wanting the victim dead.
