A review for the newest book by T. Kingfisher, Hemlock & Silver. This is a reimagining of the Snow White fairytale with an older main character and a sassy cat. I really liked the main character and many of the secondary ones. The setting and main story were also good, it just needed a faster pace.
A weekly meme where I talk about what books I have added to my reading list this week. This will mostly be my library books, but I will talk about others as well. This week I have added three books, all of them are ones that I have been looking forward to reading.
A review for the newest psychological thriller by Lisa Jewell. Don’t Let Him in is about a man who isn’t all that he appears to be. This is the story about how the women in his life bring about his downfall. Told from various points of view with a full cast of narrators, this audiobook was a delight to listen to.
This is a review for a new book with a very different kind of mystery. The Creeping Hand Mystery by Maureen Johnson is a do it yourself style mystery. It was like being handed the files to a murder case and then using that to solve the case. It was a lot of fun to read and to solve.
