A review for T. Kingfisher’s novel, Snake-Eater. I enjoyed this story about a young woman who is on a journey of self discovery and finds a home in the desert. I found this to be pretty light on the horror, but a really strong story contemporary story with some magical realism.
A review for the wonderful and comforting story about a coffee shop run by astrological cats. The Full Moon Coffee Shop by Mai Mochizuki is a warm hug of a story about how people’s lives and choices are guided by the stars and planets. A very sweet story with a very lovely ending.
A review for the first book in the new duology by H.M. Long. Entwined is an interesting read with lots of action and political intrigue. The magical system is also very intriguing and the setting is wonderful. If you are a fan of the author this just might be the book for you.
A review for the newest supernatural gothic mystery by Kiersten White. The Fox and the Devil is a fascinating story of the hunt for a supernatural serial killer at the turn of the century. The atmospheric setting of the late 1800s is very well done with a group of characters that you will love.
A review for a wonderful cozy fantasy by Peter S Beagle. I’m Afraid You’ve Got Dragons is a wonderful story with a reluctant hero, a determined princess, a cowardly prince, and yes of course dragons. I fun time and the audiobook is delightful.
