This delightfully funny story will keep you guessing as to who done it, while cheering on the wonderful detective duo.
Audiobook Review: Villain or Hero?
A review for the audiobook version of Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots. I found this alternate world full of superheroes and villains to be a fascinating look at why someone would choose to work for a ‘villain’. Loved the characters and the story and I am really looking forward to the sequel coming out in May.
ARC Review: A Satirical Thriller
A review for the new mystery thriller by V.E Schwab and Cat Clarke writing under the name Evelyn Clarke. The Ending Writes Itself is a contemporary mystery thriller that is also a bit of a satire on the publishing world. I enjoyed the story but also had some mixed feeling about it.
Book Review: Finding Home
A review for T. Kingfisher’s novel, Snake-Eater. I enjoyed this story about a young woman who is on a journey of self discovery and finds a home in the desert. I found this to be pretty light on the horror, but a really strong story contemporary story with some magical realism.
Audiobook Review: A Twisty Thriller
A review for the audiobook version of the fast paced twisty mystery thriller by Ashley Elston. Anatomy of an Alibi will keep you on your toes as you try to solve the mysteries right along with the characters. The fast pace will also keep you turning those pages until the end.
