Finishing up my reviews for books I read in October. These two books are different but they both have mysteries at their core. They are both excellent reads and ones that I recommend you give a chance.
I’m trying to keep on top of my reviews this month, so you might see a few more mini-reviews from me. This week I am reviewing two recently published books that are pretty different from each other. Both were good, but not anything exceptional. But I did enjoy reading them. Today I am reviewing to new books: Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books by Kirsten Miller and Home is Where the Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose.
A review for the Gentleman Bastards series by Scott Lynch. A riveting high fantasy series with amazing world building and complex characters that you will love. I listened to the audiobooks for all three books and was enthralled by Michael Page’s narration. This series has everything you could want in a high fantasy series and more.
Two reviews for you today, one new book and one book that was published a few years ago. Both were good solid reads, although both were very slow moving at least for me. A Step Past Darkness is a mystery thriller that has a supernatural twist. Endless Water, Starless Sky is the ending of a duology based on the Romeo and Juliet tale.
