First Lines Friday is a weekly feature (or when I feel like it) hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover we judge it by its opening lines?
Can you figure out this week’s book just from the first line?

Today I have two short audiobook reviews for the dystopian fans. Climate of Chaos by Cassandra Newbould is a bleak future of medical debt and climate change set in Seattle. Salvagia by Time Chaeaga is a murder mystery set in a flooded Florida. Both of these are great reads that I highly recommend.
Two quick reviews for two fabulous middle grade audio books I listened to this month. Let it Glow is a very sweet story about twins who switch places and learn about Christmas and Hanukkah. The Court of the Dead is the second adventure for Nico de Angelo and Will Solace who travel to Camp Jupiter to help Hazel.
A review for the nonfiction book A Dumb Birds Field Guide to the Worst Birds Ever by Matt Kratch. This was a very amusing guide to some really annoying birds from around the world. It is a fun and easy read and I recommend it to any of you who enjoy watching birds.
Here are three quick reviews, more like thoughts really, for the three audiobooks I have listened to recently. These are all parts of series that I have been reading and enjoying and just wanted to share them with you. I highly recommend all of these books, even if you are not into audiobooks.
