Hello, hello! Today I am bringing you two short reviews for two fantasy books I read this week. The first one is the sequel to the Runestone Saga series by one of my favorite authors. The second is a middle grade fantasy about a young boys adventure in a magical world adjacent to ours where he meets all kinds of wonderful creatures and an intriguing girl who can fly. Let’s get to it, shall we?
A review for the latest book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Wrath of the Triple Goddess has Percy, Annabeth and Grover pet sitting for the goddess Hecate. What could go wrong with that? Just about everything! It was a fun adventure that if you are a fan of the series you won’t want to miss.
A review for the audiobook version of Illuminations by T. Kingfisher. This is a fascinating middle grade fantasy where art is magical.
A review for the new Percy Jackson book that came out at the end of September. I just loved The Chalice of the Gods with the witty banter, the great chapter headings and the adventure!
A review for the new book by Gordon Korman, The Superteacher Project. This middle grade novel is about a middle school with an amazing AI teacher.
A review for the upcoming middle grade novel, The Midnight Children by Dan Gemeinhart. A wonderful story of friendship and found family.
