If you have followed my blog for awhile you know that I love audiobooks.  If you love audiobooks too, then I have some great news. SYNC is starting up again!  It started last week and I am sorry that I didn’t get this posted sooner.  This week’s offerings are good ones. 

SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens (13+), it is sponsored by Audiofile Magazine. They are a great website to visit for reviews on audiobooks. 

Returning April 25, 2019, SYNC will give away two complete audiobook downloads a week – pairs of high interest titles, based on weekly themes. Sign up for email or text alerts and be the first to know when new titles are available to download at www.audiobooksync.com. 

Yes, you read that right, TWO FREE AUDIOBOOKS every week for 13 weeks.  They always have great titles, both fiction and non-fiction and a variety of genres and topics.  Here are this year’s titles.

There are several titles on this year’s list that I am very excited about.  So here are a few more things you should know before you go to their website.

• Sorry to my international friends, but not all of the titles are available to you.  Many, Many of them are.  Go here to see the list of internationally available titles.  They are also only available in English. 

• You must have the Overdrive app on your device.  It is free and you can find the information to download it here.  It doesn’t look like they have upgraded to the Libby app, maybe next year.  

• The two titles available every week are only available that week.  So, if you forget or think, “I’ll do it later” and then forget, you will miss out.  This happened to me once and I was very sad, because it was a title I very much wanted.

• Once you do download them they are yours FOREVER!  I still have the ones I first downloaded 6 years ago.

I highly recommend that you sign up for the text alerts.  That is the best way to help you to remember that this is happening.  So what are you waiting for?
