The Fall Bucket List Book Tag

I have seen this tag bouncing around and was thinking of just doing it, but it is always fun to get tagged. So thank you to Madge over at Caffeine and Books. Check out her blog, it is pretty awesome!

The rules:

  • Link back to the creator (Read By Tiffany)
  • You can use their graphics if you want (I chose to do that because they’re so very cute)
  • Tag 7 people at the end

I don’t read a whole lot of books that I would consider light hearted. I wonder what that says about me. But Geekerella was what came to mind, when I read this prompt and I couldn’t think of anything else. So I’m sticking with this. It was a fun Cinderella retelling with a science fiction fandom setting which was a lot of fun. The follow up, The Princess and the Fangirl was pretty light hearted too. It looks like there is going to be a third one with a Beauty and the Beast retelling coming out next year. Can’t wait.

There are a lot of books coming out next month that have been getting a lot of hype. So hard to choose, but I finally decided on The Toll, because that is the one I am really looking forward too. The ending of the second book was such a cliff hanger that I really want to know what happened! Well deserved hype for this series.

I had a hard time with this one, I think the word fun was throwing me off. But I finally decided on Invictus. I just remember this group of friends having wonderful relationships that were supportive of each other. Plus what could be better than time traveling pirates?

Another tough one. Partly because I’m not sure how to interpret it. But I decided to go with Hungry Hearts. There were some cozy stories in this anthology and a couple of creepy ones too. But this one also had a lot of food, which always warms my heart.

Does baker count? Plus this is a secondary character, but some of her pastries just sounded so good. Mrs. Meriwether in How to Hang a Witch. She owns a bake shop and is always giving Sam some sort of baked good to help sooth her soul. Plus, she has a bit of the good witch in her too.

I immediately thought of the Iron Druid Chronicles. These books always put a smile on my face and I always look forward to reading one of them. I love Atticus’s humor and his relationship with Oberon. Plus the urban setting mixed with Irish and other mythologies just makes this a fun and exciting read anytime.

If you think this looks like a fun tag, then consider yourself tagged!
