What am I currently reading?
Necromancing the Stone is the second book in the Necromancer series. So far I am finding it amusing and I love that it is set in Seattle.
The House in the Cerulean Sea is my first TJ Klune book. I am enjoying it although it wasn’t quite what I was expecting.
DEV1AT3 is my current audio book. This is a reread for me, and I am so glad I have the time to read these books again before the final book comes out. I have forgotten so much!
What did I recently finish?
Hard Wired was really good. I should have a review up next week.
Gap Year in Ghost Town was such a fun read, that I had to immediately order the next one.
LIFEL1K3 was just as good the second time around. The reader does an excellent job so I do recommend listening to the audiobooks.
What do I think I will read next?
I’ve been having a hankering to reread Good Omens, ever since the show came out. And I figured now was a good time, because if you can’t laugh at the apocalypse, what can you laugh at?
But I am super excited that my copy of Graveyard Shift in Ghost Town arrived today so I might do this one before Good Omens. We shall see what my mood is when I’m done with the Klune book.
Arlo Finch in the Valley of Fire was just nominated for one of our local Youth Awards. It is one that I have been meaning to read and I was lucky to get the audiobook from the library so that will be my next listen.
It took awhile with my new reality of working from home, but I have finally got things under control and am pretty much back to my 3 books a week pace. I might eventually move that up a bit as my audiobook time has increased, because I am stuck in the house with not much else to do.
Have you listened to any good books lately?
