September 2020 TBR

I looked back at my August TBR post to see which books I didn’t get to, and I was surprised to see that I only missed two. One I had totally forgot that I had put on there and the other I have started but haven’t finished yet. I think that is my best TBR month yet.

September is always a low reading month because of school starting back up, and so far this year is going to be even crazier. I will be lucky if I make my usual average of 12 books this month. So I am going to go easy on myself and limit my TBR to six books. I will hopefully read more than that, but I like to set goals I am pretty sure I can accomplish.

ARCs I need to read

After having ended up with 9 ARCs to read for September releases, I needed to go easy on myself. I am however super excited to read all three of these.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is a book that I have been putting off reading. I’m sure I am going to absolutely love it and can’t wait to get started.

Attack Surface is a new book set in the Little Brother world. It is about a secondary character from those books.

Black Sun is the first book in a new series by this author. It is based on Aztec mythology. I was kind of hoping to see the next book in her Sixth World series, but I am sure this one will be great.

Other books I’m hoping to read

The Lost Book of the White will be in my hands as soon as it comes out on September 1st. I can’t wait to read it.

Igniting Darkness is hopefully coming from the library soon. This is the second book in the duology and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.

The Other Side of the Sky is another book I have on hold at the library. Hopefully I will get my hands on it before the end of the month.

Yikes, I just realized that all of these books, except one, are 400 – 500 pages. Not sure how that happened. I’m beginning to wonder if I will even be able to get these six done. Wish me luck!

What books are you planning on reading this month?
