July 2021 New Releases

July is always a little bit slow as far as new releases go. I did have a hard time coming up with some good books for July, most of the ones that caught my eye were part of a series that I hadn’t read or for some of them even heard of! It was was getting a little frustrating. But I was able to find some excellent books coming out this month that you don’t want to miss.

I am very excited for Any Way the Wind Blows and see how the group works out all of their issues. I think this is the last one, and it will be sad to see it end.

Six Crimson Cranes was awesome and I really enjoyed it! Now it will be fun to see what you all think of it! This is a must read especially if you liked Spin the Dawn.

The Final Girl Support Group sound really interesting. I like this author’s last book and look forward to him making fun of horror movie tropes.

Before You Knew my Name sounds very twisty and suspenseful. It is also a bit of a ghost story I think, but it is hard to tell from the reviews. The dead girl does narrate part of the story, but I’m not sure if she talks to the other main character or not. Should be interesting though.

The River has Teeth is on this list mostly because of that awesome cover! But it also sound really good. A bit of a magical mystery thriller with a very angry main character.

I was hoping to have read Small Favors at this point, but I haven’t had a chance yet. I hope to read it soon and I am still pretty excited for it. Also a gorgeous cover and so summery!

A short list this month, but that is ok. At least it is keeping my TBR from getting even bigger! Is there a book that you are looking forward to coming out in July? Let me know what it is.
