The Three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
It has been a little bit of a slow reading week, although I cleaned out my closet this weekend which gave me quite a bit of time to listen to my audiobook! I also spent a couple of days reading a book that I decided to set aside after about 100 pages. I think I will eventually go back to it, but I just wasn’t enjoying it at the time and decided to switch to something I knew I would like.
What am I currently reading?
Trailer Park Trickster is my current ARC and I am just loving it! I love the characters and this story is shaping up to be just as good as the first book was.
Homegrown Hero is also the second book in a series and I am finding it hard to put down. Lots of new characters and a story that is quite compelling.
Aurora Burning is a reread and my current audiobook. I love the audiobooks with their full cast narration, it just makes the characters and the story so much fun.
What did I just finish reading?
Cackle was so good, it was dark, yet funny and had a really creepy feel towards the end. This would make a really good book club read for October!
Lock Every Door was also quite creepy and another book where I didn’t see the surprise twist as to what was really going on in the building until it was revealed. Very well done!
Aurora Rising was also a reread and the last audiobook I listened to. Such a good book. If you haven’t read this series yet, now would be a good time to start with the final book coming out in November!
What will I read next?
Aurora’s End will be the next ARC that I read when I am done with the second book. I can’t wait to see where this story goes and how it ends!
The Final Girl Support Group will be my next spooky read. This one sounds like a lot of fun, but still dark and twisty.
I am hoping that Fool Moon will be my next audiobook, but it sort of depends on whether or not my hold comes when I am ready for it. I am looking forward to getting back to this series. James Marsters is the narrator and he always does a great job, so I am looking forward to this one.
That’s my reading for this week. I hope you have been enjoying your reading too!
So many good books! I hope you have a great week!
