The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

This was a pretty fun week of reading. I have for the most part been enjoying my reading and I am looking forward to the ones that I am planning on picking up next. Let’s take a look shall we?

What am I currently reading?

So far, Poster Girl has been a delight to read. I am loving the characters and the setting as well as the plot. It also a pretty fast read which I am enjoying.

The Murder of Mr. Wickham is also turning into a fun read. I have read some of Jane Austen’s books but not all of them, but this hasn’t interfered in my enjoyment of the characters in this book who are all based on Ms. Austen’s works. I have also been enjoying the mystery of who killed Mr Wickham.

I am hoping to start Our Lady of Mysterious Ailments either today or at the latest tomorrow. I am looking forward to going back to this series set in Edinburgh.

What have I recently finished reading?

Dead Man’s Hand started off a bit shaky but gained in strength as it went along. Not bad for a debut and lots of room for characters and world building in the next books.

The Windup Girl is one of those books that I set aside at the beginning of the year to finally read this year. This one has been sitting on my shelf for a while and I am finally glad that I read it. An amazing dystopian novel all set in Bangkok and taking on a lot of themes of greed, what it means to be human and political and social injustices.

I really enjoyed The Library of the Unwritten. It was funny and quite fascinating. I really liked the characters and the story was a pretty fast read or rather listen. I will have to pick up the next book soon.

What do I think I will read next?

Deadbeat Druid is the next ARC that I need to read. It is the third in the Adam Binder series. I was hoping the reread the first two before tackling this one, but I have run out of time. Oh well. Hopefully I will remember the story well enough to enjoy this one.

This is What Happened is a mystery/thriller by a favorite author. I have been reading and enjoying his Slough House series and I am looking forward to reading his back list as I wait for the next one in the series.

Stain is another book that has been sitting on my shelf forever, well since it was published anyway. Even though I own the book, I am going to listen to the audiobook. It is a rather long book, so I may end up switching back and forth between hard copy and audio in order to get it done quicker.

Well I hope that you have all been having a great reading week and month so far. I love September with the changing of the leaves and cooler days. It is a great time of year for cuddling up with a good book. Happy Reading!
