The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

It was an exciting weather week around here, with snow (or lack there of in my neighborhood) cold temperatures and some power outages which caused an extra day off for me this week. But all of this also meant extra time for reading! I managed to finish five books this week, all of which were a lot of fun.

What am I currently reading?

I will just be starting Exiles today, so don’t have anything to say yet. I’m hoping it is as good as it sounds.

Shades of Rust and Ruin started off a bit rough and a tad odd, but it is slowly getting better and better. I am hoping that it will continue to do so.

The Gods of Lost Words finally became available as an audiobook at my library. So of course as soon as I was finished with my last audiobook I had to dive right into this one. So far I am enjoying it.

What have I recently finished reading?

I saw a review for Wolf Gone Wild on dinipandareads and just knew that I had to read it. I loved it! I thought the characters were great and such a steamy romance. Can’t wait to find the time to read the other ones!

I survived the Wellington Avalanche, 1910 is the newest in this middle grade series. This is was an interesting one to me as this avalanche happened right here in Washington state! I love how she adds historical notes and other things at the end of the books.

Chasing the Boogeyman was also a really great read. I loved that it was styled after a true crime book with pictures and everything! Great mystery and psychological thriller that will keep you up at night.

Ninth House was a reread in preparation of the next book coming out in January. I listened to it this time around and found the audiobook to be an excellent choice. Loved the narrators and spending time with the characters again.

The Superteacher Project is another middle grade novel that was a lot of fun. I loved the characters and the teacher was great!

What will I read next?

Everyone in my Family has Killed Someone is the next ARC I need to read. It sounds really good and I just couldn’t resist that title!

Even though I had issues with the first book, The Ex Hex, it mostly had to do with the narrator. I’m going to try reading The Kiss Curse and see if I like it better that way.

I talked about In Every Generation in my Goodreads Monday post and since then I can’t get it out of my mind. It is available as an audiobook at my library, so I might give this one a chance when I am done with my current audiobook.
