What a super busy week I had, mostly the weekend, but still busier than normal. I am surprised that I got anything read, and I only squeaked by with getting my usual three done. I’m going to have another very busy weekend, but then things should start to calm down a bit and mostly go back to normal.
And then fall came back with a vengeance and it has been raining quite a bit. But rainy days were just meant for cuddling up with a good book!
What am I currently reading?
The Olympian Affair is the current ARC that I am reading, and the first one for the month of November. I am so happy to be back in this world with such fun characters, especially the cats, love the cats.
Gallows Court is my current library court and I have only just started it, but I am already pretty engrossed in it.
The Man with No Face is the audiobook that I will be starting today. This is one of Peter May’s earlier works, so it will be interesting to see how it has held up to time.
What have I recently finished reading?
Two Twisted Crowns was such a great book. So twisty and dark and I had no idea how it was all going to end.
The Woman Who Walked into the Sea was fabulous and so twisty that I couldn’t possibly guess what the end of the mystery had in store for us. Now to find copies of books 3 and 4 for this series.
The Ten Thousand Doors of January and I got off to a rough start, but I eventually was able to get into it and ended up liking it quite a bit. I hope to have a review up by Friday.
What will I read next?
The Darcy Myth is the next ARC I need to read. It is a nonfiction book that sounded really intriguing. It will be interesting to see if I end up agreeing with the author and her conclusions or not.
Chasing the Darkness was a book I really wanted to read this month, but because of various circumstances didn’t get to. I hope to pick it up next.
The Other Passenger will hopefully be my next audiobook, but maybe not. I still have a bit of a wait for it according to my Libby app. But I am crossing my fingers that it will come soon.

I’m really hoping that The woman who walked into the sea arrives from the library this week and am so looking forward to The Olympian Affair. The Darcy myth sounds really interesting too. Hope you enjoy all of these.
