Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.

The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.

Since the last time I did this, ahem, weekly post I have added a few more books to my stacks. I have added a couple more ARCs, library books and I also bought a couple as well. So let’s get to this.

Library and other books I have added to my bedside stack

Night Will Find You is a library book I picked up this week when I was returning a few others. I am looking forward to reading this mystery thriller with a touch of paranormal in it.

The Lost Cause is a book I bought a week or so ago. It is a near future story that looks at how the next generation will deal with all the issues we have yet to do anything about, such as climate change, while also dealing with the older generation which just doesn’t want to let go of their beliefs.

Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers is one I picked up as a treat for myself while buying christmas books for the family. It is one I have been wanting to read for a while, so I am looking forward to finally picking it up.

ARC’s I’ve added to my Netgalley account

The Bezzle is the second in the Martin Hench series. I enjoyed the first book, Red Team Blues, so I am looking forward to visiting with this character again.

The Butcher of the Forest is a novella that sounded interesting. It is about a woman who is forced to enter an evil forest in search of stolen children.

I Only Read Murder sounded like a fun read. It is a cozy mystery about an actress who used to play a detective on TV having to solve a real life murder.

That is all of the books for this week’s book haul. I hope to be back to doing this on a more regular weekly schedule. Hope you are all having a marvelous reading week and until next time…

Happy Reading!
