Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!

In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.

The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.

My library trips have been a little frustrating lately. Supposedly I have had two books “in transit“, which basically means that they are on their way from another branch, for about two weeks now. Both of them are books I am really excited to read and it is a bit frustrating when it takes so long for them to get to my branch. Luckily, one showed up today, so now I just need to be patient until the other one shows up. I was also able to pick up two books that I had on my TBR and one audiobook as shown up on my Libby app, so I am good for the week. I was also lucky enough to get approved for an ARC of the new Holly Jackson book, so I am super excited about that one.

Library books I have added to my bedside stack

Upon a Frosted Star is a book I have been waiting a while for and I am super glad it finally showed up on the holds shelf for me. I hope to start it soon.

The Violets of March is an older book that is set in the Pacific Northwest, close to where I live. I may not start this one for a while, but I am excited about getting to it.

Miss Percy’s Pocket Guide to the Care and Feeding of British Dragons is a book that I have wanted to read for a long time, but never seemed to get around to it. It is Appreciate a Dragon Day this week (January 16th) so I thought it would be the perfect time to pick this one up.

Iron Flame is the Audiobook that I will be starting today and I am really looking forward to this one. I enjoyed the first book in the series, although it was way too predictable, but I have heard some good things about this one, so I’m excited to get started.

ARC’s I’ve added to my Netgalley account

I just love that cover! I am so looking forward to reading The Reappearance of Rachel Price. I’m not sure I know what it is about, I just wanted it because I love Holly Jackson’s books. It doesn’t come out until the beginning of April, but I should be able to make room for it next month on my TBR list.

That is it for this week’s addition. Hopefully my other book that has been on it’s way to me for two weeks will show up soon. It is a nonfiction book that I have been waiting a long to read. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
