My March 2024 TBR

I have really done it to myself this month. I requested and received 6 ARCs for April, which is two over my usual limit. Now that in itself isn’t all that bad, one of them is an audiobook, but of the other five books, three of them are around 450 pages and another one is 576 pages. Yikes! What was I thinking?! I have my work cut out for me this month, but I think I am up to the challenge. I have already started one of the them, which I am not including on this list, so that hopefully will help a bit.

I am still going to limit myself to just eight official books, the five ARCs and then three others. Hopefully I will get in my usual number of books, but I will have to be on the lookout for some shorter ones to fill in the list.

ARCs I need to read in March

The Reappearance of Rachel Price is by Holly Jackson so of course I had to have it. I loved her Good Girl’s Guide series and I am really looking forward to reading this one. Hopefully it will be a fast read.

Bless Your Heart is an audiobook arc that I picked up a week or so ago. It sounded quirky and fun and I thought I would give it a chance.

Close to Death was another book I had to have as it is the next book in a series that I have really been enjoying. I am looking forward to picking this one up soon.

Dragon Rider is by another author whose YA books I have really enjoyed. This is his adult fantasy debut and I am really looking forward to sitting down and hopefully enjoying it.

Web of Angels was first published in the 1980s, but is being republished with a forward by Cory Doctorow. This is supposedly the first cyberpunk novel ever written and has some insights into the future. I thought it might be an interesting read.

Other books I plan to read in March

A Door in the Dark is a YA book that I have wanted to read since it came out last year. It is a fantasy survival story. The second book comes out at the end of April, so this is the perfect time to read it.

The Thefts of the Mona Lisa is a very short nonfiction book that I hope to read this month. I have been more fascinated with the stories behind this famous work of art than the actual painting. This supposedly is the definitive work on its history. Hopefully it will be an interesting read.

Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers is a book I bought a few months ago and finally getting around to reading. I have heard good things about this book and I am looking forward to finally getting to it.

Hopefully this will be a nice selection of books to keep me entertained this month. What are you planning on reading in March? Do you have any of these books on your list? Let me know in the comments.

Until next time…

Happy Reading!

  1. I hope you enjoy these! I don’t have solid March plans yet. I’ve been in a weird slump. I want to read but nothing fits right now. So, I’m just going to keep starting books until something sticks lol.
