The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

My weekend ended up busier that I thought it would be. But, other than my audiobook, my reading didn’t really suffer. I was still able to get three books done. Our weather has been gorgeous this last week, but the rain is now back. Oh well. At least I can spend more time curled up by the fire with a good book!

What am I currently reading?

Dragon Rider is my current ARC and so far I am really enjoying it. I am only about 150 pages into this almost 500 page book, but I really like the main character and the story is good too!

Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers is amusing. I am finding Vera a little annoying but I am liking the other characters and the murder mystery is well done so that makes up for not liking Vera much.

The One That Got Away with Murder is my current audiobook and also an ARC. I only just started it yesterday and so I’m not to far into it yet, but it is starting off well.

What have I recently finished reading?

Close to Death was really good, and I think my favorite of the series so far. The mystery was very well done and I had a hard time figuring it out ahead of the characters.

A Door in the Dark was darker than I thought it was going to be. Lots of death and mayhem, and the main character was not as nice as you first think.

Bride was good. This is a solid supernatural romance that had a pretty good plot as well. The audiobook was well done too.

What will I read next?

Web of Angels is my next ARC that I need to read for April. It was originally published in 1980, but is being re-released in April. It sounds like a good old fashioned techno thriller so I had to give it a try.

The Thefts of the Mona Lisa is another nonfiction book that I just had to read. It is pretty short but should be interesting too.

Dry Bones is the first book in the Enzo Files series. I am looking forward to listening to this audiobook.

Well, happy Spring to those of you in the northern hemisphere, and happy Fall to those of you south of the equator. Wherever you are I hope that you are finding plenty of good books to read. Until next time…

Happy Reading!

  1. I really enjoyed Dragon Rider and I love the cover that you have. I quite liked Vera’s character but I can definitely see how you could find her irritating. It was a good book though. I hope you enjoy all of your next reads.

    1. Dragon Rider has really started to pick up and I am really enjoying it. I think Vera is growing on me a bit, but it might just be that I really like the other characters who seem to care for her, in their own way.😊
