Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.
My holds all seem to be showing up enmass again. There were three waiting for me when I made my weekly trip to the library this week. Then when I got home I received a notice that another one was ready and one was also on the way. (I’m not including those here as I haven’t picked them up yet.) I just can’t keep up! I still haven’t managed to get through all of the ones I grabbed a few weeks ago. Oh well, I will just have to read faster I guess. I probably won’t be doing this post next week as I will be in Connecticut visiting with family, so won’t be making my weekly trip to the library. But I am ok with that, as it will give me time to catch up. I also received an ARC from NetGalley that I am excited about.
Library books I have added to my bedside stack

Break to You is a YA story about kids who have been incarcerated, but it is also a love story. I am sure that it is one that I am going to enjoy.
49 Miles Alone is a thriller that takes place in the desert. I enjoyed a previous book by this author so I’m sure this one will be a hit too.
The Night Shift is a backlist book by one of my new favorite authors. This one is about Y2K and a murder spree that happened at a Blockbuster’s video store. I’m looking forward to this one.
Sticky Notes is the ARC that I received this week. I follow the author on IG and just love his little stories about his life as a teacher and some of the great interactions he has with his students. I was very excited to learn that he has a book coming out this fall.

That is it for this week’s stacking the shelves. My very busy July is almost up, and I am very much looking forward to some down time so that I can catch up on my reading. Until next time…
