I am gazing into my crystal ball and making my best guesses for this post. I am actually writing this on Sunday before I leave on my trip, so I have a pretty good idea where my reading will be on Wednesday, but still, it is a bit of a guess. I also had a tough time thinking about what I might read next. I will be bringing a couple of books with me on my trip, but I’m not sure what I will be in the mood for. Also, I will hopefully finish my ARC’s for August this week, and I’m not sure I want to start in on September’s yet, so who knows. My audiobook is a bit up in the air as well as that will depend on what shows up from my holds at the library.
What am I currently reading?
‘Til Heist Do Us Part is the second book in a fun, fast paced series. I loved book one, To Have and to Heist, last year and I am so far loving this one as well.
49 Miles Alone is the second book by this author for me. Loved the first one and so far this one is keeping me up at night turning pages.
Murder Your Employer is my current audiobook that I am just starting today. I am pretty hopeful that it will be a good one.
What have I recently finished reading?
Haunted Ever After was everything I was hoping it would be. Loved the romance, loved the ghosts, I just wish they would change that cover!
The Mimicking of Known Successes was okay. It was a little bit weird and I‘m not sure I would call it cozy, but I liked the quirky characters.
A Man Called Ove was delightful and a really enjoyable listen. Ove reminds me a lot of my husband.
What will I read next?
William is the first ARC I need to read for September. Not sure if I will be starting this next or not, but I don’t know what I would read instead.
Monsters We Have Made will probably be my next library book. I am taking it on vacation with me, so unless I pick up another book while in connecticut this will be the only one I have to choose from.
Blow Back might be my next audiobook, but it all depends on when or if any of my holds become available when I am ready for my next listen.
That is all of my reading for this last full week of July. Can’t believe that the summer is almost over. But I am looking forward to some cooler temperatures as we head into fall. Until next time…
