The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is happy and healthy and enjoying their reading. I have had a pretty good week so far. My weekend was fairly busy with another quilt show and some other things going on. But I still managed to get 3 books finished. All three were pretty good and I enjoyed them.

What am I currently reading?

Wheel of the Infinite is an updated and revised edition of a book first published in 2000. So far it has been pretty good. I am enjoying the characters at least and the world building is of course amazing!

Miniatures is a collection of very short stories by my current favorite science fiction writer. I am really enjoying picking this up whenever I need a good laugh.

So Thirsty is officially my current audiobook, but I also have a hard copy, so I am switching back and forth between the two. I have only just started them so don’t have much to say yet.

What have I recently finished reading?

The Legacy of Arniston House was a nice addition to the series. It was a little slow, but we gained a lot of backstory on some of the characters and on the world. There is at least one more book in the series.

Lies, Damned Lies, and History is the 7th book in this series and I am still really enjoying the writing, the characters and the world. The ending on this one was great as well.

Paladin’s Faith was a little slow to start, but once you get into it, it is a fun time. I especially enjoyed one of the secondary characters, Davith, whose romance with Wren (also a minor character) was more fun than the main characters!

What will I read next?

The Party another good one for spooky month, although it doesn’t come out until December. This is my first ARC for December and I am looking forward to reading it.

Guillotine will be my next library read. It should be a good one to read on these soon to be dark and stormy nights.

Unruly is my next audiobook and my nonfiction book for the month. I have always had a fascination with the complexity of England’s history and I heard this is a funny accounting of their various monarchies.

We are at the halfway point in October and so far it has been a pretty okay month reading wise. I am at least finding my review groove once again, which I am extremely happy about.

Until next time…

Happy Reading!
