WWW Wednesday

Happy, happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your week is going well. Mine has been ok. It was pretty busy over the weekend and my brother in law is arriving today for a short visit, so things will be a bit busier than normal the rest of this week. So, even though I am really close to finishing my current audiobook, I may not get it done until the weekend.

My books this week have been good. I finished four books, although two of them were short, so combined they probably only make one book! All of them were enjoyable, although you might want to stay away from Guillotine if you are at all squeamish.

What am I currently reading?

The Party is my current ARC that I will be starting today. I hope it is just creepy and not to full of gore.

The Black Loch is my current library read and I am really enjoying it. I just so enjoy getting to spend more time with these characters and visiting the Isle of Lewis again.

Unruly is my current audiobook and I am really enjoying it. I feel so sorry for all those english school children who have to learn and remember all of this. It is a bit overwhelming!

What have I recently finished reading?

Wheel of the Infinite is wonderfully well written, but kind of slow moving. The long chapters don’t help with that either. But the world building is fantastic and I really like the main characters.

Miniatures is a collection of short stories by my favorite science fiction writer. This was a lot of fun to read.

*So Thirsty was really good and once I started it I had a really hard time putting it down. I enjoyed the characters and their ride or die friendship.

Guillotine was short but packed a punch. It was Horror with a lot of revenge murders. My only negative thought was that Patrick maybe didn’t deserve to die, at least not for the reason they gave. The rest got what they deserved.

What will I read next?

Chasing Eternity will be my next ARC. I am looking forward to finally reading the finale to this time travel series.

The Drowning House will be my next read. I sort of timed this one to read during Halloween week, so I hope it is nice and creepy. This is also the last book I need to read for my October TBR.

The Fate of Magic will be my next audiobook. I am looking forward to this sequel to Night of the Witch, which I enjoyed last year.
