The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy, happy Wednesday to you! I hope your week is going well. Mine was pretty good. Although the rainy season has begun with gangbusters. We have had a few dry days, but they were cold and cloudy so barely counted. But that is life in the Pacific Northwest.

My reading week was pretty good. I managed to get three books done, although one of them was a bit of drag, and the other wasn’t quite as good as I was hoping, but my audiobook made up for both them. Two of my current reads will only take me a day or two to complete as they are novellas, but I can’t start one without finishing the other, so yeah, I may not be starting these for a couple of days. But I’m still counting them as current reads.

What am I currently reading?

How to Steal a Galaxy is the next ARC I need to read. But I can’t start this until I do the audiobook for Full Speed to a Crash Landing. Which I won’t be able to start till tomorrow. But it is only 4 hours long, so I should be able to finish it in one day I hope. The first book is a reread, but I wanted to remember it better before tackling the second book. I hope that ramble made sense to you, not sure it did to me?

It’s Only a Game is a YA mystery thriller that I picked for my entry in this month’s Buzzword Reading Challenge. Our book had to have the word ‘only’ in it, so this fit the bill perfectly. I am just hoping it is better than the last YA thriller I read.

What have I recently finished reading?

Beautiful Broken Love started off well, but sort of went downhill for me around the middle. It just got really slow and there just wasn’t any angst once they got together. More on that tomorrow when I post my review.

Wrath of the Triple Goddess was a little disappointing. I think the nostalgia and happiness I felt for the first book sort of wore off, because I almost found Percy ( I can’t believe I’m saying this) annoying this time around. But the story was good and I still enjoyed it.

The Isles of the Gods audiobook was great. I loved the full cast of readers who all did an excellent job bringing their characters to life. I am kind of torn now between reading the next book, which I currently have from the library, or waiting about a month for the audiobook. But I am putting that decision off on till after my current read.

What will I read next?

Rebel Blade is the final book in a really great fantasy series, that hasn’t been getting as much love as it deserves. Looking forward to starting this one very soon.

As I said above, I’m on the fence about starting The Heart of the World now or waiting a month or so for the audiobook to be available. I’ll decide once I really have too.

Children of Ragnarok should be my next audiobook. Libby keeps telling me it will be available soon anyways. So hopefully it will be ready in a day or too when I am needing a book to listen to. This is a reread before I tackle the next book in the series.

That is my reading for the week sorted out. I can’t believe that the month is about half over already. So much to do before the holidays start. I hope that you are enjoying your reading and are not stressing out about the holidays yet, or life in general these days. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
