This has been a pretty busy week for me but I still managed to get quite a bit of reading in. I finished four books, but two were novellas, so really only three. I really enjoyed reading all of my books this week and so far my current reads are good as well, although I have only just started all of them.

What am I currently reading?

Rebel Blade is the current ARC that I have to have read by the end of the month. This is the third and final book in a very well done series, and I am looking forward to seeing how it ends.

A Rival Most Vial is a book that I have been seeing around the blogs a lot the past few months, so I have decided to give it a try. So far I am liking it.

Children of Ragnarok is my current audiobook. This is a reread, but so far I am enjoying the story again and the narrator is doing a good job with it.

What have I recently finished reading?

Full Speed to a Crash Landing and How to Steal a Galaxy are the first two novellas in a series. I really enjoyed them both and I really want the third book now!

An Instruction in Shadow was just as good as the first book. This is an urban fantasy series that hasn’t been getting the attention it deserves. If you haven’t already, please give the first book, An Inheritance of Magic, a look.

A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking was pretty funny and I loved listening to it. The gingerbread man sidekick was hilarious. As was the sentient sourdough starter.

What will I read next?

Tell Me What You Did is the first 2025 ARC that I need to read. So far it is the only one I have lined up for January, but I have a couple of others I am considering.

Bane of Asgard is my next read, if I am done with the audiobook of the first book by the time I am ready for a new read. Looking forward to seeing where the story goes next.

How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying should be my next audiobook, but we will see what Libby has to say about that. I’ve been amazed at how that system works sometimes.
