Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.
Kind of a slow week for adding books to my stack which is ok with me. I didn’t have my usual trip to the library this week as I had no holds to pick up and only one book to return which could wait another week. I did pick up three ARCs on Netgalley, which is exciting. I also downloaded one audiobook.
Library books I have added to my bedside stack
No library trip this week. I missed it a little bit, but that is ok. I am trying to whittle down my bedside stack of both library and owned books. Not picking up shining new ones means I have to choose one from the stack!
ARCs I’ve added to my Netgalley account

The Geographer’s Map to Romance is the second book in the Love’s Academic series. I have been listening to the first book, The Ornithologist’s Field Guide to Love and really enjoying it. So when I saw this one on Netgalley I immediately requested it. So excited to read this one!
My Friends is the newest novel by the author of A Man Called Ove. I really enjoyed Ove and had been wanting to pick up more books by this author, so of course I had to request this one. I’m really looking forward to reading it.
The Irresistible Urge to Fall for Your Enemy is the first book in a new romantasy duology that sounded like a lot of fun. I almost always love a good enemies to lover romance and this one sounds like it will be perfect.
Audiobooks

Faebound is one of the books I had on my 2024 TBR that I really wanted to read, but didn’t get to. I finally was able to get a copy of the audiobook and will be starting this after my current listen. I have heard good things about this so I’m hoping the audiobook will be good.

I always look forward to seeing what other people have added to their stacks. I almost always find another book to add to that ever growing beast known as my TBR. It grew by about a dozen books this week after seeing everyones most anticipated reads for the first half of the year. So many good books, so little time. Until next week…
The Irresistible Urge to Fall for Your Enemy is one I want to read!
