Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.
Happy weekend! The last few days have been beautiful, lots of sunshine and warm weather, but tomorrow I am afraid we will be back to the cloudy wet days of spring. At least the days are getting longer!
This week’s trip to the library was pretty good. I returned three books and picked up three so that was good. Two of them were on hold and one I found on the shelf. I also received three new ARCs from Netgalley. None of them come out until the summer but I am still excited that I get to read them early. I had several audiobook holds come in as well, but I put them all on hold until I am done with the three I currently have downloaded on my phone. It just seems that my holds always come in groups!
Library books I have added to my bedside stack

Cursebound is the second book in what I think is a duology, but I’m not sure. I have mixed feelings about the first book, but I think that was mostly due to the narration. Hopefully reading it will be a better experience.
Warriorborn is a novella set in the Cinder Spires world. I really enjoyed the first two books in this series and I am looking forward to the next one, but that might be awhile. I will just have to content myself with this one for now.
Storm Waters is a book that I found through one of the author newsletters that I get. Many of them include books that they are reading or recommend. I figure if my favorite author likes it then chances are I will too. We will see. That cover is awesome!
ARCs I’ve added to my Netgalley account

A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping is a book I have been waiting for since reading The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches in 2023. I am so excited that it is finally here! I will admit that I have been stalking Netgalley and hoping that it would be available.
Sounds Like Love is a book that I just automatically said yes to because it is Ashley Poston. I just love her books. I’m not totally sure what this one is about except it is focused on music, but I don’t care. I just know I need to read it!
Smuggler’s Cove caught my attention because of that cover. I then read the summary and I was hooked. I don’t think I have read any books by this author but I have heard good things about her.
Audiobooks
No audiobooks added to my Libby account. I should know better than to have more than one or two audiobooks on hold at a time, because they always seem to all show up at the same time! I did have two become available this week, but decided to have them delivered later so I would have time to finish the two I have and the audiobook ARC before getting to those two.

That is it for this week’s post. I am as usual looking forward to reading other Stacking the Shelves posts. I almost always find a book or two to add to my own list. Until next time…
Ooh, Snap (well almost) as I have Cursebound waiting for me at the City library so it will appear on next week’s STS. I hope that we both enjoy it.

I’ve read a couple books by Fern Michaels and I did enjoy them. I’m just not much of a mystery reader. Hope you like her book.
