My April 2025 TBR

Good Morning all! Or maybe Good Evening depending on where you are. I can’t believe that a quarter of the year has gone by already! Wow, it has been quite the year so far. My reading has had its ups and downs, but mostly ups. I am looking forward to many of the books I have planned to read this month. I have lots of ARCs to get through plus a big stack of library books so hopefully I will get through them all.

ARCs I need to read

The Bug Bandits is a cute sounding middle grade book about a girl saving her family’s bug museum.

Parents Weekend is another thriller by one of my favorite authors. Really looking forward to this one about a group of parents whose children go missing during a college parents weekend.

My Friends is the newest book by Fredrik Backman. This will be only my second book by this author, but I think it will be a good one. It is about friendship and the lasting bonds that are created.

Marble Hall Murders is another standalone book in the Susan Ryeland series. I am so looking forward to reading this one.

The Language of the Birds is a YA mystery thriller about a teenager who is on the spectrum trying to find her missing mother.

Other books I plan to read

The Crime Brulee Bake Off is a cozy historical mystery that I am really looking forward to reading. I will probably be the next book I pick up.

Go To Hell is my nonfiction pick for the month of April. It is a traveler’s guide to all of the places on earth that have some sort of connection to the underworld, such as caves and even towns called Hell. It looks like a fun read and I already am a fan of the pictures.

The Ragpicker King is an audiobook that I am really hoping will be coming this month. This is sort of risky pick as I am still a few weeks out from getting it according to the app, but I am crossing my fingers that it will come sooner rather than later.

Well I hope that things go as planned for me this month. I also hope that you all have wonderful books to spend your April with. Until next time…

Happy Reading!
