Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your week is going well. Mine has been quiet here on the Oregon coast. It has been really nice breathing in the sea air, although it has been a bit colder here than at home. I haven’t had a lot of time for reading but I am enjoying it when I have the time.
What am I currently reading?
A Witch’s Guide to Magical Innkeeping is delightful and I am really enjoying this one. I love the characters and the story is a lot of fun too.
A Field Guide to the Apocalypse is a little bit more serious than I had hoped, but I am finding it interesting. It is a little slow moving, but it is short.
My Roommate is a Vampire is a fun and fast read. I do like the characters and the story is an interesting one. Not sure if the romance is working for me though.
Death on the Island is good, but a little slow moving. There are also a lot of characters and points of view and I’m struggling a little bit with that.
What have I recently finished reading?
The Irresistible Urge to Fall for Your Enemy was a lot of fun. But even though I enjoyed it I know it will not be for everyone, but I am looking forward to reading the next book.
Terrestrial History was interesting. I enjoyed it but I am struggling a little bit with writing a review for it.
The Wedding People was not my typical read, but I really enjoyed it. I loved the characters and the narrator did an excellent job with the story.
What will I read next?
Not Quite Dead Yet is the next Arc I need to read. I’m really looking forward to reading this thriller by one of my favorite authors.
The Adventures of Mary Darling will be my next read. This very different retelling of Peter Pan should be an interesting one.
Tress of the Emerald Sea is my next audiobook. So looking forward to this one. I have been wanting to read this for a long time.
