Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope the world is treating you well. I had a very good week of reading. I finished five books, almost seven. I am so close to finishing two of these books that I might even be done with them as you are reading this. All of the books were pretty good and there is a pretty wide variety of genres. Take you pick and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

What am I currently reading?

It Was Her House First is the current ARC that I am reading. I am pretty close to finishing this one and at this point have no idea where it is going. So far it has been pretty light on the horror, but there has been quite a bit of suspense!

Best of All Worlds is really good and has a lot to think about. Another one that I am not at all sure how it is going to end, but looking forward to seeing where it goes.

The Summer I Ate the Rich is the audiobook that I am actually starting today. I have heard some mixed reactions to this one, but I am intrigued by the premise. Hopefully it will be good.

What have I recently finished reading?

*Not Quite Dead Yet was fabulous. I really had a hard time putting this one down and it actually made me cry at the end. That for me was the mark of a really good book.

*The Adventures of Mary Darling was an interesting read that I ended up enjoying. I really liked Mary Darling and the Peter Pan reimagined story with Sherlock Holmes.

🎧 *Tress of the Emerald Sea was also a really good audiobook that I quite enjoyed. I loved Tress and the pirates and all of the adventures that they had.

The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association was pretty fun. It took a bit to get into, but once I did I was all in. I really enjoyed this humorous look at high stakes education with a supernatural twist.

🎧The Undercutting of Rosie and Adam was great and I really enjoyed listening to it. I loved both Rosie and Adam. I was also thrilled that Duckers and Zeddy once again had a role to play in this cozy romantasy. Plus of course we got to see the dragons again.

What will I read next?

The Blonde Who Came in From the Cold is the next ARC I plan on picking up. It comes out in August and hopefully it will be just as fun as the first book in this cozy spy thriller romance.

The Bat is a book I picked up quite a while ago and meant to get to before now. It is the book that I hope to be reading on the plane on Thursday.

First-Time Caller is hopefully going to be my next audiobook. I planned this one for June for one of my challenges. But it sounds like a really good romance inspired by the movie Sleepless in Seattle.
