WWW Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone. I am on my way home today, and looking forward to seeing my cat and husband. It has been a fun trip visiting family, but I also just want to get home. I did get a lot of reading done this week. Five books and I am almost done with a sixth. All of them were pretty good and I enjoyed them quite a bit. My current reads are also very good.

What am I currently reading?

The Incredible Kindness of Paper is my current ARC that I have just started. So far I am enjoying this sweet story of childhood friends becoming more when they meet again as adults.

People We Meet on Vacation is good, about what I expected. I really wish romance authors would write from both perspectives, it really does add more to the story. I really want to know what Alex is thinking during their vacations.

Don’t Let Him In is the audiobook that I am hoping to start on the plane today. It is the newest mystery suspense thriller by my new favorite author. So looking forward to starting this one.

What have I recently finished reading?

The Blonde Who Came in From the Cold was a very fun spy romance. I really enjoyed the characters and the story.

The Magician of Tiger Castle was a very sweet modern fairy tale that I really enjoyed. I really liked the characters and the story was a lot of fun.

The Bat was a solid murder mystery that I did enjoy. But it was really draggy and a bit dated. I hadn’t realized that it was originally published in the late 90’s and it showed.

The Summer I Ate the Rich was a much better book than I was expecting. I loved the main character and the story was really interesting.

First Time Caller is my favorite romance of the year and possibly of all time. I just loved the two main characters and their dual points of view were such a lot of fun.

What will I read next?

Hemlock & Silver is the next ARC I plan to read. I always enjoy this author’s fairy tale retellings so I am sure this will be a good one.

Hell’s Half-Acre is a non-fiction book I plan on reading next. This one sounds really good. It is a true crime book about a serial killer family in the old west.

With a Vengeance is my next audiobook. It is also by a favorite author. It sounds a lot like Murder on the Orient Express, but I’m sure it will have its own twist.

Don’t know if I will be able to keep up this pace of reading once I get home, but it will be fun trying. I hope your reading week has been a good one. Until next time…
