The Three Ws are:

What do you think you’ll read next?

Happy first day of October! I can’t believe that it is October already! Where has the year gone? Fall has started here in the PNW with three straight days of rain so far. This is pretty typical for us. We always have a lovely September and then bam! back to the rain and cloudy gloom. Well these types of days are great for snuggling up with a good book.

What am I currently reading?

We Fell Apart is the first ARC I need to read this month. I enjoyed the first two books and hopefully this one will be just as good.

Wild Reverence is excellent, but a little on the slow side. I do like the writing and the characters, just wish it wasn’t so long!

🎧 Black Tide Son is the middle book in the Winter Seas trilogy. I remember this one as being quite good though. I am looking forward to listening to this one as I will be starting it today.

What have I recently finished reading?

*A Draught for a Dragon was delightful and I really enjoyed how the author wrapped up the trilogy. I am really hoping we get more books set in this world though.

The Everlasting was excellent and a really interesting take on time travel. Still trying to wrap my head around this one.

*Nightshade was also a very good mystery thriller. I look forward to reading more books in this new series by this well known author.

🎧*Dark Water Daughter was just as good the second time around. The narrators did an excellent job with the characters.

What will I read next?

A Fate So Cold will be my next ARC I think. Love that cover and the story sounds really good as well.

Coram House will be my next library read. I picked this one up on a whim because it sounded really good. It is a mystery thriller inspired by true events.

🎧 The Art of Legend is my next audiobook. It is the final book in the War Arts saga. I have been waiting a couple of years for this one, so hopefully I will remember enough of the story to not be too lost.

I hope your month is starting off well and that you have lots of exciting books to read!

Until next time…

Happy Reading!
