This past week has been a pretty good reading week. I finished two pretty long books, and started two more. I have so far enjoyed all of them. November is starting off well.

What am I currently reading?

A Tangle of Time has been really good and I am quite enjoying it. I am pretty close to finishing it and I have no idea what is going to happen. I love that.

🎧 A Case of Mice and Murder has also been an excellent read. Another one that I am almost done with. I have not yet figured out who committed the murder and I am looking forward to the big reveal.

What have I recently finished reading?

Dungeon Crawler Carl was good and I can certainly see why everyone is so excited about it, especially gamers, but I’m not sure that I will continue the series. I loved Princess Donut, which almost makes me want to continue, but probably won’t. Unless my library gets copies of the audiobook, that is, as I have heard they are excellent.

🎧The Art of Legend was an excellent end to this great trilogy. If you love high fantasy, especially one that is based on the martial arts, and pokes a bit of fun at the chosen one trope this is a series you need to read.

What will I read next?

I’m not sure which books I want to read next but these four are pretty high on the list. Of course I might just go in a totally different direction when it comes time to chose.

Cinder House is a novella and is pretty high on my list to read next. Mostly because of the shortness of it, but also I have heard good things about this paranormal retelling of Cinderella.

The Physics of Superheroes is my nonfiction choice for this month and is one I need to start soon. It is a little denser than I thought it would be, so it might take me awhile.

🎧 Another Fine Mess is an audiobook that I want to listen to soon. It is for one of my challenges this month, so it isn’t urgent, and the next book is one I really want to read.

🎧 Clown Town is the ninth book in the critically acclaimed Slough House series. It has been 3 years since book eight, so it has been a long wait. This one will probably be my next listen, but I’ll have to see what my mood is when it is time. This is the series that Apple TV’s show Slow Horses is based on. That is a show I highly recommend to everyone.
