WWW Wednesday

A very busy week, reading wise. I actually finished six books this week. I also enjoyed them for the most part although I did have a few issues with some of them. My current reads are pretty good as well. I do have a busier schedule this week, so not sure I will finish another six books, but that is ok. I am seriously behind in my review writing however, so expect to see a few more than normal this week.

What am I currently reading?

The Geomagician is my current ARC that I am actually starting today. I have been looking forward to this fantasy about Mary Anning and fossils that wield magic.

Red Star Rebels is really good. I am about half way through now and have really been enjoying it.With it’s short chapters it is a pretty quick read.

Anatomy of an Alibi is my current audiobook and so far it is pretty good. I am very intrigued with who committed the murder and how.

What have I recently finished reading?

*Entwined was good, although I did have a few issues with it. I was hoping to love it more, but I do think I will read the next book.

*Enchanting the Fae Queen was also slightly disappointing. I didn’t end up liking the two main characters that much and I found the story a little lackluster too, but I am looking forward to the next book.

Jurassic Girl was short, and not quite what I was looking for. This was more of a story nonfiction that focused just on Mary Anning’s first big fossil find.

🎧Murderland was such a compelling read, and at times quite disturbing. The audiobook was really easy to listen to, loved the narrator.

🎧Game Changer was awesome! I really loved the different alternate worlds that the main character went to and how his growth as a person was affected by the worlds.

When the Rain Came was also a very good YA dystopian. I really enjoyed the characters and the story has a good twist at the end.

What will I read next?

The Ending Writes Itself is the next ARC I need to read. I was hoping to get to this one sooner, but alas did not. So looking forward to it though. It is a murder mystery.

Hench is the next library book that I will pick up. Really looking forward to this superhero vs villain story.

Queen Demon is my next audiobook. I am looking forward to continuing this series. This one is a bit long, 15 hours, but I am sure it will be worth it.
