Happy Wednesday and Happy almost Spring! We had a surprise snowstorm over the weekend, so I found myself staying home and reading. We don’t often get snow in the lowlands around here, but the mountains definitely needed the snow. Of course now it is raining, soon to be followed by flooding. We just can’t catch a break with the weather lately.
The good news is, that I finished five books this week. Three of them were ARCs so lots of reviews need to be written. I pretty much enjoyed all of them. My current reads are also pretty good.
What am I currently reading?

Gimme Shelter is my last ARC for March. I loved the first book, Vice and Virtue, in this quirky cozy mystery series, so hopefully this one will be just as good.
Homemaker is also a quirky cozy mystery about a nosy mom who turns detective when another mom goes missing. I’ve only just started this one, and so far it is pretty good. The main character is a little annoying, but I think she is growing on me.
Busted is such a fun story. I am really enjoying the characters and the story is such a hoot. Love Grampa and the other residents of the Sunny Days Retirement Home.
What have I recently finished reading?

*Cherry Baby has such realistic and relatable characters. I enjoyed Cherry’s family especially. The story is heartbreaking but also uplifting.
The Antiquarian’s Object of Desire was a lot of fun and I loved the romance. It got a little slow in the middle, but certainly picked up towards the end. I hope to have the review done soon.
*The Murder at World’s End was such a fun and cozy read. I really enjoyed the characters and the mystery was a good one.
Mad Mabel is not like any other mystery thriller that I have read before. I loved Elsie and her story. The narrators did an excellent job with it as well. Look for my review soon.
With Friends Like These was an interesting story. It was more about long standing friendships and about how we don’t really know anyone. The mystery was good, but not the focus of the story.
What will I read next?

Platform Decay is the eighth book in the Murderbot series and I am so looking forward to reading this one.
The Tomb of the Mili Mongga is my next read for the nonfiction challenge. This is about an anthropologist who goes in search of a Yeti like creature in Indonesia.
🎧 And Now Back to You is my next audiobook. I loved the first book, First Time Caller, but I have seen some mixed reviews of this one. Hopefully it will be good.

That is it for this week’s edition of WWW Wednesday. I hope the rest of your week is marvelous and that you are enjoying your reading.
Until next time…
