Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! And audiobooks. Don’t forget audiobooks!
In other words, if you can read it or if it can be read to you – no matter how you got it – it belongs in Stacking the Shelves.
The Stacking the Shelves meme was originally hosted at Team Tynga’s Reviews. It is currently hosted by Reading Reality.
Hello and happy Saturday to you. Spring has sprung and I am looking forward to warmer days and all of the beautiful flowers. Although they might all drown before then. Our springs are usually wet, but we are starting off the season particularly damp. Oh well, hopefully it will dry out soon.
Not much added to the stack this week, a couple in each category. I requested one of the ALC’s I was finally approved for way back at the start of the month and it finally came through. I although I am a bit miffed it took so long. It comes out on Tuesday, so I have to hustle a bit to get the review done at least by the end of the week. I’ve already started it and so far it is pretty good.
Library books I have added to my bedside stack

I saw a review for In Time With You recently and it sounded like just the thing I might like. It is a romance with some time travel.
ALCs I’ve added to my Netgalley account

Storm Warning is the fifth book in the Alex Carter series. Alex is a wildlife biologist who goes to some very exoitic places to research endangered species. This time she is in Hawaii protecting hawksbill turtles. There are usually some people doing bad things that she gets caught up in. Not sure what the bad guys are up to this time, but so far it is really interesting. This book comes out on March 24th.

Villain is the second book in the Hench series. I loved Hench which I just listened to recently, so I am really looking forward to listening to this one. I just love the twist on the superhero genre. It is also very funny and I love the office politics.
Audiobooks

And Now, Back to You is the second book in the Heartstrings series. I have been seeing some not so great reviews lately for this one, but I am trying to keep and open mind about it. I loved First Time Caller, and I enjoyed Jackson’s character in that, so hopefully I will continue to like him. The cover is certainly cute!

And that is it for this week’s edition of Stacking the Shelves. Not a bad haul. I hope that you are having a terrific weekend and finding time to read. Until next time…
